A Christmas Carol

Nov 20, 2026—Jan 3, 2027

The magic is back! The Old Vic’s acclaimed production of A CHIRSTMAS CAROL makes a joyous return to PAC NYC. Two visionary Tony Award® winners—playwright Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), conceiver and director Matthew Warchus (Matilda The Musical)—offer a magical interpretation of Charles Dickens’ timeless classic. Brimming with merriment, music, and holiday treats, this immersive production wraps the audience around the action, inviting the communal holiday spirit in us all. On a bitter Christmas Eve, a cold-hearted miser is visited by four ghosts. Transported to worlds past, present, and future, Ebenezer Scrooge witnesses what a lifetime of fear and selfishness has led to and sees with fresh eyes the lonely life he has built for himself. Can Ebenezer be saved before it’s too late? Winner of five Tony Awards, this beloved production welcomes theatergoers with dazzling staging, moving storytelling, and cherished Christmas carols, including “Joy to the World,” “Silent Night,” and “It Came Upon the Midnight Clear.”
